Designer’s Insight
The client’s apartment is quite small, so to avoid making the space feel cramped while still being able to entertain guests, I selected a glass dining table and transparent chairs. I chose a light grey sofa bed to keep things airy and multifunctional. For the entryway table and TV cabinet, I went with a wooden finish and white doors—an all-white design would have made the space feel too cold and cheap.
To add warmth, I included floor lamps and a beautiful table lamp that give the space a soft, welcoming glow. Because of the size, I kept the patterns minimal and used black, gold, and pink for the accessories to introduce some personality without overwhelming the room.
One element I absolutely love is the wall decoration. It adds a romantic and dramatic touch to the space, and a client asked me where I had purchased it. It’s actually a Facebook Marketplace find!
My client was thrilled with the outcome and felt like the space had truly transformed into a comfortable and stylish home.
Client’s Testimonial
Lin designed the living area for me, since the area is small, the design is not only beautiful but also functional. From initial consultation, to design, to after sales service, Lin has been very patient in explaining the reason behind every single item in the design, and in answering my questions to make my furniture purchase very easy. She is very talented, professional and knowledgeable. I absolutely enjoy working with Lin and LOVE LOVE the design. I would highly recommend Linlin Interiors.
